Nor’Easter Apparel

Jay
Secondary Vendor
Picture
Nor’Easter started two years ago from an online store dream. The name plays off the Nor’Easter storms that create a meteor frenzy on the East coast. All of their designs play off this theme of storm attributes, being a force of nature, being wild and free and being unstoppable. They have turned these into messages of empowerment, as well as using the name to identify being from the North East of Canada. They have different types of clothing including t-shirts, dresses, tank tops and sweaters. They are known for having super soft clothing, when starting the business Jay wanted each and every item to feel like your old favourite.
Especially now that Jay has started in the farmers market, he believes it is even more important to shop local. When you shop local you are allowing all of these artisans and small scale businesses to live their dreams and live a sustainable lifestyle without having to move across the country.
Fun Fact: Jay runs a total of 5 small businesses including Nor’Easter.
