Jackie is a farmer who also loves foraging wild food, so she added them together and now she has an interesting business with a variety of products. She specializes in choosing and growing really delicious varieties of purple and red vegetables.
To Jackie, it is important to shop local because it makes us a more sustainable community. We are environmentally sustainable as we cut out all the middle ground and travel, it allows us to not rely on people and other countries to grow food at a cheap cost for our benefit. It also creates a beautiful community and you get to know everyone that is making/growing your food.
Fun Fact: Jackie is a violin player along with being a farmer and forager.
