At Heirloom Rugs everything is crochet, no sewing. Doris developed everything on her own and has patterns on all of her products. She has also written a book with tips and tricks. She has 5 shapes of rugs, oval, round, rectangle, heart shape and halfmoon. She also teaches crocheting, it is her passion and she can’t get enough of it! Dorris enjoys making her rugs the most, she likes mixing the different colours into the rugs and creating different designs within the rugs. 
    She thinks it’s very important to shop local, especially for the vendors at the market. Much of the time, store bought items aren’t as strong and durable as homemade items. She believes that shopping local gives you a better value for your money.
Fun Fact: Doris also attends many shows with her business.
